Join us for a leisurely 3-mile walk during fall migration.
Meeting Point: Red Rock Ranger Station lower parking lot Directions: the ranger station is 1.2 miles south of the Village of Oak Creek along Hwy 179 What to Bring: Water, snacks, binoculars, camera, sturdy shoes, proper clothing, hat, sunscreen, etc. About the Location: The trail is fairly flat & well maintained. The trail starts out in a small riparian area before continuing through mostly pinyon-juniper habitat. Year-round residents include Black-throated Sparrows, Canyon Towhees, Crissal Thrashers, Rock Wrens, etc. Migrants hopefully will include a mix of warbler & sparrow species.
