Join us for a morning of birding in the high-country forests north of Flagstaff. Our destination will be selected shortly before the trip based on current bird activity and conditions, allowing us to choose the location offering the best birding opportunities. Registration is strongly encouraged for this event. Registered participants will receive the final meeting location via email closer to the date. We will be following the birds.
Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026

Meeting Point: Details will be provided to registered participants prior to the walk.
What to Bring: Binoculars, water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, sturdy footwear, and clothing appropriate for changing mountain weather. A spotting scope is optional.

About the Location: Depending on recent bird activity, we may visit Wilson Meadow, Little Spring, or another productive high-elevation location in the Coconino National Forest. These habitats can host a variety of breeding birds, including flycatchers, warblers, hummingbirds, raptors, Clark's Nutcracker, Williamson's Sapsucker, and other mountain species.
