Join us for a morning of birding in the high-country forests north of Flagstaff as we explore the unique habitat of Wilson Meadow. This beautiful mountain meadow and its rare willow grove attract a variety of breeding birds, making it one of the area's hidden birding gems.

What to Bring: Binoculars, water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, sturdy footwear, and clothing appropriate for changing mountain weather. A spotting scope is optional.
About the Location: Located at approximately 8,500 feet elevation, Wilson Meadow is home to the largest known grove of Bebb Willow in Arizona. We will walk through and around this unique habitat while searching for a variety of mountain birds.
