Kachina Wetlands
February 15th, 8:30-11:30am

Come bird with us at Kachina Wetlands! This is a great place to see some ducks, birds of prey, and other wetland specialties. Some possible waterfowl include Cinnamon Teal, Gadwall, American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, Canvasback, Bufflehead, and Common Merganser. Other exciting birds that might show up are Killdeer, Bald Eagle, American Kestrel, White-breasted Nuthatch, Marsh Wren, Western Bluebird, Song Sparrow, and Red-winged Blackbird.

We will be meeting at 8:30am on Saturday, February 15th. To get to the preserve, take I-17 exit 333 onto Kachina Blvd, then turn right onto Tovar Trail which will lead you to the preserve. This location will be easy walking with flat trails. Be sure to bring sunscreen, walking shoes, a hat, binoculars, water, and wear warm layers. Weather will be cold! For any questions please reach out to Abbie Brozich at 480-519-0538
